A domain name is simply a root website address. An example would be: dannyboy.net. To see if
your desired domain name is available, do a domain check.
By having your own domain name your website address and email addresses will be shorter and easier to remember.
A website with its own domain name appears much more professional than one hosted under an ISP's domain.
Do I have to pay extra for my domain name?
Yes, you must purchase a domain name if you do not already have one. You may purchase it
on your own, or have us do it. We will register .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, and .us
domains for $15 a year. If you wish to register an International domain such as .ca, .au, and .uk please go

If I have you register my domain name, will you properly register it with me as the owner?
Yes, of course. Some web hosts register domains in their own name.
So essentially the web host owns your domain name and not you. Be careful!
This can cause a lot of problems.
Can I transfer my existing domain name to your servers?
Yes. There is no charge to do this and we will do what we can to help.
What are POP3 email accounts?
They are simply regular email accounts that may be used under
your domain. You can have email addresses in the form you@yourcompany.com. They are setup
and accessed just like a regular email account you get with an ISP. They may also be setup to
forward mail to an alternate email address.
What are CGI scripts?
CGI scripts are small programs that help to automate your website.
They are used for page counters, filling out order forms, pull down redirect
menus, guestbooks, and a number of other things. One example of a cgi script

How do I create my website?
There are literally hundreds of free website creation software programs that can assist you in creating your site.
Most of them require no programming knowledge. Of course there are also plenty of higher end website creation programs
that require that you purchase them. For simpler sites, you can even use Micosoft Word.
How do I upload my website?
You can upload your website through ftp, your web browser, or, if available, your website creation software.
All you need is Internet access. Uploading via ftp is very simple.
